    Meh???

Lets see, concealed carry with a permit: Get stopped by LEO; LEO checks out the validity of your permit; all else being kosher, LEO sends you and your gun on your way.

Concealed carry without a permit: Get stopped by LEO; have LEO firearm pointed at your head; have a taste of dirt while being held face down on the ground; be handcuffed; be placed under arrest; have your gun removed from you; get a free ride in a cop car to jail; go through being booked; get locked up; try to make bail; hire an attorney; spend time in court; pay attorney and court fees; face a possible felony record, confiscation of all of your guns and prison time.

    And you say "meh"?

If you think it is no big deal to get caught carrying concealed without a permit then I suggest you think a bit harder.

Word of advice: try to offer your side of the debate with facts and sound reasoning instead of the ad hominem attacks; the badazz internet tough guy routine will never gain sympathy for your cause and will in fact overshadow your message with your youth/immaturity. We need more youth like yourself in the 2A movment; please don't inadvertently discredit yourself prematurely.

BTW; I enjoyed your videos on UOC, they were both informative and entertaining.

        Meh? No, I say - FUD. 1st offense is a (2 actually) misdemeanor(s). Second-time offense is a wobbler.

Divesting yourself of guns during a probation period does not = "confiscation of all your guns".

I can't tell you how many times I was sat on the curb while my car was searched between the ages of 17 - 21. Now I know better...
What would you do in that situation. does leo have probable cause?

Hence my use of the term "possible felony".

Perhaps I chose my words poorly for the point I was trying to make. Please refer to 18 U.S.C. 922(g):

"It shall be unlawful for any person who has been convicted in any court of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year (also known as a felony)... to ship or transport in interstate or foreign commerce, or possess... any firearm or ammunition..."

I read this to say convicted felon = can not legally possess a gun.

Do not get me wrong. I personally believe that every law abiding citizen should be able to carry concealed if they so desire without the requirement of permission from their government.

Unfortunately in most places in the PRK under the current laws, I think doing so illegally is simply a bad idea.

To the OP who has asked opinions from the internet...

...you are 18...DO NOT OC at this time...first figure out what career path you want to take and do it...then worry about OC-ing.

That guy did a lot of things right and a lot of things wrong. He helped the officer too much by giving up his ID (huge no-no), and was a bit mouthy at times ("is this Nazi Germany" & "you don't know the law"). However he did it right by calmly asserting his rights and complying with the officer's orders.

This pretty damn closely represents what pullnshoot25 went over in his video "Felony Hot Stop". While I don't know the laws of Ohio, if what he's saying is true, he was grossly wronged there and has a good chance of suing & winning, especially since he was drawn upon and detained.

Unlike CA, Ohio does have a 'stop and identify' statue.

You think you know, but you have no idea.
