Yes, it is important to establish that it is a voluntary upgrade from a design that allows the gun to discharge if dropped at a specific angle. But it is not a recall.
My friends and family disavow all knowledge of my existence, let alone my opinions.

Is there a huge improvement over the stock trigger system? I know it's a completely different platform but the SW M&P trigger was a must upgrade (to apex) and it made a huge difference. Would one be able to tell the difference like the M&P's (if you've ever shot it M&P w/ & w/out apex). Been watching youtube videos all day today on grey guns and I want to upgrade but still debating. The p320 is a bit mushy (to me) and isn't the cleanest. Still 100x's better than the M&P's though.

Yes I think the “ P320 Adjustable Straight Trigger System – Competition” was worth it. It’s a 2lb pull weight now and the reset is a bit shorter.

That's what I've been reading too. Some says it's really not worth it. Does make for a lighter pull from what every says. This is why I'm debating and still on the fence. I haven't done enough research yet but is there any way to get that mushy feeling out? Sort of like how the apex trigger is?

I may have to see if I can find someone who has the comp trigger and shoot it or at least feel it before I can commit. My M&P is tuned to about 2lb pull and it is super crisp. I do like the lighter trigger pull but I prefer the mushiness to be non-existence.

Apex makes a P320 trigger too.

I didn't go with that one, but I did go with their regular flat face trigger. It's a great trigger and would recommend the upgrade.

                Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I know they do, but from my researching a few years ago it doesn't really clean up the mushiness. It (I believe) only shortens the pre-travel or over-travel. But what do I know, I haven't felt a p320 apex trigger so I can't say for sure either.

If your local club has uspsa matches, chances are there will be several competitors using p320 that have the GG competition trigger kit.

p320 with the GG kit uses the stock power striker spring and can reliably ignite cci 400 srp. Having a ~2lb trigger pull and reasonable “feel” plus that level of ignition reliability and primer flexibility is a huge win in my books. But if someone is a low volume shooter only shooting factory ammo or has an epic stash of federal spp, this isn’t a big consideration.

If you get a chance to see Mason Lane shoot his p320....it's pretty awesome.

The flat trigger is very nice, feels much better than the curved unit.

As far as modifications, I'd use all sig factory parts if you ever intend to carry it on your CCW. My county doesn't allow any modifications other than grip / sights, I imagine many counties have similar rules regarding modifications to carry pieces. So keep that in mind as you proceed. I had to remove nice triggers from my Glock 43 and 19.. Luckily the X-Series trigger on the Sig P320 X-Carry was nice enough to leave stock.

LoL San Jose / Santa Clara county do not...

Moving to a much more rural part of California has some advantages

You still have San Jose as your location. I escaped the bay too.

Yeah.. I am about to escape social media entirely as well. Dropped off of Facebook / Twitter almost two years ago. Calguns is the sole survivor of my online posting. I see less and less value interacting online or even spending time on the Internet. I have to admit I like the university of YouTube for learning how to do things but other than that the Internet itself has lost it's shine for me.

Congrats on getting out of the bay, it's a sh**hole anymore.
