Back in September I asked if I should get a P365XL that was being offered to me. It took a couple of times to meet up with the seller to see if I liked it. Then of course life got in the way of things and I was just able to get it. I just wish that it didn't have the manual safety, but sometimes you just have to get what's being offered to you. Now I need to get some 10 round magazines for it.

I agree, no safety is better (IMHO). Wonder if it’s integral to the FCU.

The safety is very light and easy to engage and disengage. It's just that none of my other carry guns have a safety on them. I too was wondering if I could remove the safety and get a different grip module.

My brother in Oregon has one, loves it. It is a purple SOB to get the last two rounds into the 12 round magazine, he has to use a load assist tool.

That's what he has, couldn't remember the name when I posted. I actually gave it to him on his last visit, I don't have any magazines that need it here in Kalifornia.

I used to need it for the last round in CA mags. The laws stated that the magazines would absolutely not allow you to load any more than 10 rounds. That meant no wiggle room when that 10th round went in. The UpLula worked great.

Fortunately in free states, for example, an 18 round mag usually gives you about 18-1/2 rounds of space so loading the last round still left you with some slack. The UpLula is still handy because loading 72 rounds into four magazines starts to get tiring.
