I've tried several, Beretta 92F/FS , 3rd Gen S&W and Remington BDL 30.06.
All of them either, failed to lock up / stay in the gun, failed to feed or failed hold the stated amount of rounds.
I took a hammer, smashed them flat on the concrete and tossed them into the trash.
Pro Mags are PRO JUNK !!!

I've had several through the years, for different pistols.
My advice would be: Do not use them for serious defensive purposes.
On range trips, I usually take one Pro-Mag/aftermarket mag for each pistol I'm shooting, along with a basic complememt of factory mags. The ProMag almost always offers an opportunity for failure-drill training.
They actually DO serve a useful training purpose, just, again, not to ever bet your life on.Comment

The only thing is bad as Promag is Hexmag. The amount of filing and modifications I had to do to get those things to work in my AR-15 was really extensive. Magpul is your friend.sigpic

I have some pro mag M1 Carbine mags. I had to file down the body of the mag to get them to fit in the magazine well. They were the only ones I could find in stock when I bought the gun unfortunately.
I now have some KCI, not know for quality either, but they fit without modification.Loyalty to country, ALWAYS. Loyalty to government, WHEN IT DESERVES IT. - Mark Twain

ProMags have a tendency to gouge brass, which is not a big deal unless you reload, in which case you also have to polish the feed lips.I have some pro mag M1 Carbine mags.
