Franklin Armory Binary Trigger/Slide for the Glock 17

    RecoilWeb article

Tons of Shot Show YouTube references to the G17 binary trigger but mostly I just saw brief references or very short clips.

Perhaps it is time to sell my 80s era (Gen 1? Gen 2?) and upgrade to a Gen 3 so I can try this thing out. LOL - (I was kidding but with an anticipated MSRP of $899 that would be a hard pass even if I was initially serious!)

                  So........................

                  Safety question..............

If I only want to shoot one bullet, and then I realize I left the selector on can I hold the trigger down, and change the selector to single, and then release the trigger without it going off?

I see it as a fun toy, but a disaster waiting to happen in the field as a serious application for defense.

Some people have been using those for years.
                    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I say this every time someone talks about a 1911 that costs more than $1,000.00, or one of those Gucci Glocks.

Pull the trigger, hold it, move selector to "normal", no second shot.

But be real, who is going to use this toy for self defense, unless you're defending against a horde? And at that point, who cares about popping off an extra round into said horde?

Something like this would have been fun in the 90s.

With the price of ammo now, I'm usually loading 5 and taking my sweet time

Had a glock that had a malfunction spit 3 rounds each pull, sent it back, it honestly scared me, so ****ing fast you did not feel the recoil. Its a great trigger for spitting ammo, ar format is about 400. Nice thing it a selector, they should called it zombie mode, only time for use, ammo way to expensive now

I would be interested to see the targets they were shooting at, I don't think it is going to improve the rate of hits on target. Looks like they were all over the place with that SBR version, with no stock.....
