I have the SA 1911 9mm and absoulately love it. Over 5K rounds through it and still going. I use it for match and felt like cheating sometimes... would love to get the new Kimber 9mm, but long wait and cost at least $200 more from the SA... I would spend the money on upgrades instead.

Here it is - with Novak Fiber site - but will change to regular night site later on...

Yiippee! It was such a bummer going to their website, seeing a link "9mm /38 Super," and having it link to a page saying "We don't make 'em."

I was going to buy a bunch with the Loaded coupon, but I'd rather wait for the Cobra mags.

Another option - Springfield is now selling their "mini" 1911 in 9mm, the EMP.

That EMP is sooo sweet, but so expensive. I was just looking at one last night. I would love to have one.

I second that. The High Power is one of the greatest guns ever made, and designed for 9mm. The 1911 also one of the greatest guns ever made, however designed for the .45 acp.

I bought mine about a year and half ago. And they were hard to find back then. I seen a few on eBay. Might want to give Springfield a call also.

Comes in a crappy package, and parts are not nicely lubbed, so it looks almost rusty. But that stuff just wipes right off, finish is real clean. Satin blued, and the flat sides are nicely polished. Very inexpensive, I payed $200. This is a FULL kit. Upper is complete with dot sights...and comes with ejector, slide stop, pins, and 1 9rd mag. Some people have luck pieceing it together and shooting 100%, while others needed fine tuning from a gunsmith. Good luck finding one.
