Which gets the red dot?

Personally I go for fish sticks, wrapped in bacon, cooked on a barbecue.
But hamburgers are a close second. Tied with hotdogs... Also wrapped in bacon and cooked on a barbecue.
Used to be able to get them at the border crossing in Tijuana for like a dime each. The good old days...Comment

I do stuff like that in the Traeger a lot... not fish sticks though. Usually if I crave those they are frozen ones and I use the air fryer... with some fresh tartar sauce. Most frozen fish sticks are meh.
Good thick cut bacon on a smoker is just good stuff.Comment

the nice thing about glocks is the availability of milled slides,
whereas you'd have to send the cz slide out to get milled.
I have a G19 with an RMR and it's a sweet shooter. Not sure
I'd want to mill out my CZ for a red dot, it's fine just as it is.

I never would have thought cooking fish sticks on a barbecue would be a good idea until a friend demonstrated it to me about 20 years ago.
He was a Marine, so there was very little normal about him, but he could find inventive, easy to clean up way to cook food that always impressed me.
Barbecued salt pork is also very good, though you can feel it killing you as you're eating it. Probably what makes it so good.Comment

I like to find the largest ham hock and cook it with presoaked dry beans...that's good soup.
Pork roasts in the pressure cooker with green sauce is another staple... you can actually get fairly lean ones, but pork has fat.Comment

Yeah, a ham hock in split pea soup makes it a meal fit for a king. And if enough of us ate it, the natural gas shortage would end that night...Comment

I’m actually in the same boat. Ive ran a RMR on my g19 for about 4 years now, and love it. It introduced me to shooting with both eyes open, drawing, finding the dot, and just getting used to cheating haha
I love my g19, and wouldnt trade it for the world.
I do have a almsot 100% CGW Sp01 that I’m waiting to either do EZ D sights or a red dot. Slide milling will be done by CGW… but the question is.. what optics? The Sp01 slide does not offer enough real estate to carry a rmr without the use of a mounting plate. Which To me looks a little off.Comment

Get a Brownells Glock 19 slide that is already cut for an optic.sigpic
