Beretta 92 FS double action pull

I did the LTTtrigger job in a bag, dramatic improvement. But still not as good as my CGW CZ’s or C&S BHP"To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them" - Richard Henry Lee

I have 12 lb hammer springs in my Berettas, no issues and a much lighter DA trigger pull.
Langdon Tactical offers custom Beretta, Glock, HK, Springfield, and Tikka builds configured by trained gunsmiths. Browse LTT guns and custom services.
Get the Langdon Optimized trigger bar and it gets rid of a lot of the pretravel. Worth every penny.
If you're really into it, the trigger job in a bag is supposed to be the shiznit. Haven't done it, my guns didn't need it, but those who have installed it in their guns say it's the bee's knees.

Only if installing the .22LR conversion kit.
Takes time to break in and will have random light hits.
After 500rds been reliable, more cheap ammo issue.
More info.......The new Xtreme trigger is a no go shape for many.
You can build what you want, factory or LTT
Beretta just came out with flat trigger if that is your flavor.

The 92X Performance trigger is supposed to give you a flat trigger when in SA, but I found the DA reach was a bit long.
On my 92X Performance I installed the WC short reach trigger, I like it much better in both SA & DA. The only change is the reach to the trigger, there's no performance enhancement I could discern.
The 12 lb hammer spring reduced the pull weight considerably in my Brigadier.
The LTT Optimized trigger bar also made a huge difference in my Brigadier. Considerably shortened the trigger reset in SA.
I tried the WC trigger bar, to me it seemed to make the DA trigger stroke longer, which was not helpful.
Beretta also makes a Match Hammer, I haven't installed this on my Brigadier only because I can't find one in stock, which is supposed to eliminate a lot of the remaining pretravel in SA. Has to be used with either the Beretta Extreme X trigger bar or the LTT optimized performance trigger bar to work properly, according to Ernest Langdon.

I put the 92 xtreme kit in my m9a1. I too found the reach in da to be too far so I put the standard steel trigger back in. Fits me perfectly. My Marketplace Feedback: https://www.calguns.net/forum/market...k#post54003245Comment

I have only one 92, a compact inox with full trigger job (and some more) from WC. It includes their lighter spring(s). It's not a gun I shoot a lot, but it has never had an issue and there is nothing to worry about the lighter springs, as long as you stay within the reasonable range.
Most DA/SA guns have waaaaay stronger mainsprings than necessary for reliable primer ignition, so going with a lighter spring is an easy *and reliable* fix to reduce the trigger pull weight.
If you've ever experimented with different rebound/main/FPB/firing pin/recoil springs, you know that there is "the factory range," "the self defense range," "the competition range," "the pushing the limit range" and "the wishful thinking range." If you stay within the first 2-3 ranges, you'll be good...sigpicNRA Benefactor MemberComment

No, it's a decocker and a safety.
Whether a safety on a DA/SA gun is necessary is different than if there is one on your DA/SA gun. And if your DA/SA gun is a Beretta FS model, it has a safety and decocker.
It's one thing to clear a jam (doesn't happen often with Berettas in my experience, but it is something you train for), and find your hand has inadvertently swiped the decocker/safety lever and your trigger is now dead (probably happens more often than an actual jam in a Beretta) vs. inadvertently swiping the decocker and having it spring back up and your only issue is a longer, heavier trigger, but a trigger that works.
Unless you install the G decocker only conversion kit from Beretta. Then it's a decocker.Comment

Yea a classic upgrade set is: #12-13 hammer spring, LLT trigger bar, Wilson SR trigger, and thin g10 grips. And G decocker since a dead trigger sucks. Makes it rip.Comment
