AR Pistol Legality Question

Thanks to all of you that replied. I've made a list of my options should i have move back to CA. I try to keep up with the ever changing laws in CA.

If you're wondering why i'm still a contributing member after leaving CA, it's because the 2A fight isn't over. I know that somewhere in a small office in the state capitol a bunch of Interns are drafting a poorly written bill for their boss.

I used the DFM mag from Franklin. It sucks compared to a king pin and amraglock that I use now...far better
I use 10 round mags and the couplers--dam nice for a Kalifornia phag complaint crap

I have a few of these RJK mag couplers - I wish they made a model with the two mags reversed from each other. Flipping a mag and re-inserting it isn't very easy when they both face the same direction, but upside down.

I'm mostly using Magpul pinned 10/30's (LGS near me makes them) or even Magpul's own factory 10/30 (no pin required) now. The length of the 30's is so much easier to work with, especially if you have mags in a pouch of any kind.

You can import ar pistols just like any other off roster pistol when you move into the state as long as you register them (if not previously registered) within the time period noted. They also must be in fixed mag configuration to be considered a non-assault weapon and those devices will depend on what kind of weapon you have and may not even be available on certain pistols depending on the brand.

If you never re-registered out-of-state , I believe it would still be legal in Ca.but, to shoot it here you must loose the bullet button and install the Jugernaut tactical or Amraglock to shoot it…
