G43x is superior but for deep conceal g43 is nice. I carry +1, backup mag +2. Both TT extensions. +3 would never feed 100% for me.

Your ignoring that close to a half inch hump on the rear of the 48/43x, attention to detail is important. It makes a big difference, I have both and carry both(that is a SA-15 in the 48)the 43 with the plus one is absolutely easier to conceal in some situations and is well worth owning for that reason. There is no one gun perfect for everything, always have an assortment to meet all your needs.

We seem to have forgotten 'large capacity magazine conversion kits'; PC 32311
            (b) For purposes of this section, a “large capacity magazine conversion kit” is a device or combination of parts of a fully functioning large-capacity magazine, including, but not limited to, the body, spring, follower, and floor plate or end plate, capable of converting an ammunition feeding device into a large-capacity magazine.
Nobody knows for sure what parts/combinations certainly make up such a kit, but there is no mention of application to a low-capacity mag - the kits themselves are prohibited
punishable by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisonment in a county jail not to exceed six months, or by both that fine and imprisonment.
I know of no enforcement actions of this section. That does not mean none have occurred, nor that it cannot be enforced.

The Strike Industries Extended Magazine Plate for GLOCK™ G43 (G43 E.M.P) design provides smoother magazine reloading through its low drag / no snag design. The G43 E.M.P provides multiple functions to include an additional 2 rounds bringing a GLOCK™ G43 capacity up to 8+1. Along with providing more magazine capacity; the extended grip surface provides extra finger space for a better grip and more control; along with better ergonomics which leads to a higher accuracy potential over the base model subcompact. The SI G43 EMP is a must have addition for your EDC! NOTE: Due to recent changes made by GLOCK™ to the G43 Magazine, newer magazine version may be unable to load the +2 advertised capacity due to an additional spring coil added by GLOCK™

                  Also, regarding 32311…

Surely the spring for Glock 43 kit could not be considered capable of converting a mag into a large cap mag since it would be too short. Are the base plates the same for a 43 and 48? Hyve’s are different. If the parts of the kit cannot be used to make a large capacity mag, wouldn’t that make them legal under 32311?

I’ve run MagGuts +2 reliably through two training courses and lots of rounds with no issue for my 43. YMMV

If it's delivered as 10 rounds or fewer, that's legal.

thanks all for the feedback. Believe going with the Pearce +1 (holstered) and Strike Industries +2 for spare mag. Did not know so many out there.

Definitely easier with my G26 and going with the Pearce extender many many years ago and then the Magpul 12 rounder mags just a few years ago.

I avoid ETS magazines, my Glock 19 is reliable as the sunrise unless I stick an ETS magazine in it. Can’t make 20 rounds in a row without a jam.
