Hilarious! So true. They don't realize all their crap is Chinese. Hell if we stopped having Chinese stuff, Target, Walmart, Amazon, etc would cease to exist. And we would have no technology. No iPhones, no components for cars/tvs/computers, etc. I get it tho, I try to buy from American companies when I can, prob is very little is manufactured in our country anymore.I can consistently make 50 yard shots pretty easily with a 3.25. You know it’s only 1.625 inches at 50 yards? With a nice 1911 that should be really easy to do. I have only trijicon and holosuns now and I definitely prefer holosun over trijicon. People will go China bla bla bla as they post it from their Chinese made product on Calguns. The 407, 507 and 509 are excellent options.Last edited by Peahi2; 08-07-2021, 9:53 AM.Comment

Machining the slide will usually yield the most desirable result. Depending on who does the work and how, you might be able to avoid having to use suppressor height iron sights. Nighthawk's IOS is the most elegant solution (and yes likely the most expensive). However, it will also be the easiest to adopt to newer RDS in the future if Nighthawk will make the plates for different optics.NRA Benefactor Life Member

#FUDD… Stop buying into the number…

I have a 3.25MOA Type 2 - 2.2-inch group at 25-yards with a Glock 21SF Gen 3 with stock trigger and a factory bulk ammo. This was standing off-hand.
I can make headshots at 50-yards at a rate faster than “slow fire” with my 5.0MOA SRO…

Wow! This has gotten me thinking!

For what it's worth, I've had good experience with Trijicon's RMR mount for 1911s. Here's a link showing my first 1911 project: https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/...learning+curve"An unarmed man can only flee from evil. And evil is not overcome by fleeing from it" - Col. Jeff Cooper

Thank you! I posted it another thread: https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/...5&postcount=15Ragged Hole Drill - a square at 5-yards. 5-shots!
Taking it a step further - from the low ready/high ready or from the holster (if the range allows it) - fire a pair. Par time is 6-sec (slow enough to comply with most indoor range rules).
This drill simulates center mass (A-zone/0-down) hits for a human-sized target at 50-yards.

Tip - (rather than aiming before prepping)

i purchased the Bushnell RXS250 on sale.....it was less expensive than many other options and has been great. Lots of very good reviews as well.
I picked it up from Bushnell for a significant discount...they have this awesome VIP program (If you are an outdoor industry professional, U.S. Military Member or Veteran, or Public Service official)Last edited by mtenenhaus; 09-01-2021, 8:37 AM.Comment
