CZ 75

Hi everyone...

SO, my girlfriend and I have been going to the range trying to figure ut the best California legal gun...

We shot the Glock 17 a couple of times, and last week we shot the CZ 75. I must say the CZ 75 felt a lot better to shoot!

Question...what is the difference between the CZ75 and the CZ75 B?

The B indicates the model where they added a firing pin blocking mechanism, the original 75 did not have that.

The BD indicates the "B" model with a decocker. The 75SA is a single action only, but it has a firing pin blocker as does the SP01 and I believe any other modern CZ 75.

I don't think the original was ever officially imported. I've never seen one -- except mine. I got mine while the Iron Curtain was still up, and suspect it was smuggled out and eventually sold to a soldier who brought it back with him.

I have the 75 BD. Love it. You will have no regrets with one of the 75's

i found and bought a 75 bd last year well into covid. it was at turners in salinas. also bought a 97b.

You won’t be able to find a bd(decocker) only cz 75b sp 01 p 01 all of which are perfect first guns. All metal guns have less recoil and unless you CCW are a better fit. The sp 01 and P 01 you can attach a light too which is useful, say your neighbor you know gets black out drunk and accidentally enters your house instead of his you can identify your target before shooting

There is one that they made for police detectives, I believe it is PC something. Same size as the po-1 without the rail. Great gun one of my favorites. Most CZs are well made and fun to shoot. The orange or blue ones will spoil you. JMO

Oh thats nice! My GF liked shooting my PCR, that could be an option as well.
