Help identifying 7.62x25 ammo.

I've got 100 rounds or so of 7.62x25 from a long ago. I can't remember who manufactured it and I don't have the original boxes. Anyone familiar with this ammo that can tell what it is by the headstamps?
I'd really appreciate some info on it. Thanks.

Also probably overpowered for a pistol chambered for 7.62 Mauser like a broomhandle or Luger. Good for Commie guns. Tokarev or CZ52.

Going to use in a Tokarev. Thank you. From what I've read it's supposed to be good ammo (for surplus ammo) ?

I've never heard of a 7.62 Mauser. Tell me more about it.

As for the 7.62 Tokarev, it was based on the 7.63 Mauser.

I stand corrected on 2 things I forgot. It is 7.63 Mauser and some Lugers were chambered in 7.65 Parabellum not 7.63.

The cZ52 was a great $70 pistol back in the day

The tin posted above with the lead soldered box is definitely corrosive Ammo. It works extremely well and it’s no big deal to clean out the corrosive salts.


Open that tin before you head to the range. Some open easily and some fight every step of the process
