You might want to pick up some more mags while you can. Palmetto State's AK-V mags work great in my Scorpions. They are less expensive than CZ mags and have metal feed lips. https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-...165448274.html The feed lips on CZ mags have been known to crack. The Palmetto State mags are also made in 'merica, if you ever need 922r compliance.

I've been hoarding Magpul's EV9 35 rounders ever since January. More and more of my PCCs are using them, first the Scorpions, then the AK-V, then the AR-V, now the Stribog.

If I'm really lucky, someone might even make a B&T APC lower that accepts them so my APC9s, GHM9 and hopefully soon, the SPC9 can run them too.

I am aware of the possible issues with the stock CZ 30 rounders, but I didn't know that when I ordered them. I have to stop spending money until the first of the month, after that I plan on getting some more mags for it. The trouble is that with Beijing Biden and his band of Dumbocrap thieves pushing gun control, I have been ordering a bunch of different mags for several different guns and between that and the purchase of the Scorpion + accessories, I am tapped out for a little while.

I thought about the PSA mags, but they aren't drop free in the CZ, so I am going to order a dozen or so of the Magpul's as soon as I can. I currently have no plans to get any other PCP or PCC's in 9mm so I don't need dozens of mags for just the CZ.

I am not too worried about 922r as I'm pretty happy with it they way it is. I already have a Zastava M92 SBR along with an AR SBR with suppressor, so my lust for another $200 SBR stamp is pretty much sated. As soon as I able, I am going to get another can that will work with the CZ as well as with my Uzi and MAC10.

I might get some more magazines for the Uzi, but I already have a bunch of them. I only buy military surplus mags for it and they are pretty indestructible, so I can't see me wearing them out in my lifetime.

I hear you. So may potential purchases, so little cash. I really want to buy a battleship gray Scorpion, but I can't justify it.

Regarding 922r compliance, CZ USA does sell made in USA followers and bases - which are the 922r compliance parts. Their website also lists 922r compliant complete mags. However, they are usually out of stock. (As I write this, the bases are in stock but the followers and magazines are out of stock.) I've converted all of my CZ mags to 922R compliant mags, just so that I won't someday inadvertently violate that stupid law by using the wrong mag in the wrong gun. (Admittedly, 922r was one of the reasons I went with the CZC trigger rather than just switching out springs. With the USA made trigger parts, I could use factory mags and still be in compliance. That said, its still an awesome trigger, even without the 922r considerations.)

I have a few magpul mags, but I haven't shot them yet. I also have some Manticore Arms mags with steel feed lips that were specifically made for the Scorpion. They drop free and were less expensive than Magpul or CZ factory mags. They have performed flawlessly so far.

As for the PSA AK-V mags, I have installed the HBI Pro Stock mag release on my guns. I wrap my hand around the mag and hit the release with my thumb then strip the mag. So, drop free is not a big factor for me. YMMV.

I do love the Scorpions. My first PCC was a MPX SBR. That gun started my love affair with PCC SBRs (they are too big to qualify as pistols with or without braces so you have to convert them to SBRs in order to compete with them). They pretty much dominate the local steel matches. As much as I like the Sig, I shoot my Scorpion SBR faster and more accurately The Scorpion rapidly became my favorite PCC and, in its present suppressed configuration, part of the home defense arsenal.

            Enjoy your Scorpion.

To quickly resize images you can email them to yourself in gmail, which gives you the option to send as Original. Large, Medium, and Small. Send them as Medium, then upload to whatever site you use to host your images. That's how I do it, but I'm no rocket surgeon, so there's probably a better way than that as well.

So which one os your favorite?
Which ine is the softest shooter?

I tried a binch of different PCCs ended up sticking with the MPX as IMHO the point of a pcc is teduced recoil which the MPX was king by a long shot

My favorite now is the Stribog (it's the roller delayed SP9A3) among the guns that take Scorpion mags. The AR-V is not built yet, but if it can be married to CMMG's RDB system, then the Stribog will really have a credible delayed blowback competition.

I should really take out the MPX and the CMMG 9mm Banshee on the same range trip. That would be interesting.
