There are a couple of options available to make Shield 8 round mags hold 10 rounds. Just don't go the ProMag route.

Yeah promag 10 rounders suck. Need to clean them ever 50 rounds or so.

You must be new around here. Only way we're getting that gun is if they make one with microstamping.

Get a regular shield, add the Magguts +2 spring to the 8rd mag and boom, 10+1.

You must not actually be that old...law was signed by the republican governator in 2007 and went active when an LA gun shop decided to start selling them some years later.

Tayler Freelance Mag Base with a modified follower (older M&P height), that will hold 10+1, modifying the follower is a very thin window before tilting and working.
