So, If I have some old frist gen 17rd mags I can legally replace the tude with a new one? What's the catch? I read about this but I always thought it was not legal in Cali (much like everything else).

Actually, Glock will refresh/replace your 1st gen. mags for free. Give them a call for details.

Even though I live in Cali? I had heard that if you send them your highcaps they replace with 10rd mags? Maybe that was during the national ban only?

i have heard of people sending in their NFML pre ban mags to be rehabed and recieving new FML mags in return. i would wait for a GSSF match and have the glock armorer rebuild your mags. what is wrong with the mag body?

Means full metal lined or non full metal lined. The full metal lined mags will drop free even when fully loaded.

I think desert scorpion has glock oem mag tubes for sale on glocktalk... The 6th gen mags take different follower and spring setups though than the original fml mags... I have a bunch of nfml 17 mags but glock would not give me a straight answer about sending them back to them for replacement or repair.. Some of the feedlips are out of spec...
