SW 3913 TSW

I'm picking up a 3913 TSW this weekend for my CC pistol (the other one will be a 70s vintage Mauser HSc .380). I guess it is too late to ask opinions on it from owners but from the internet research I did it seems to be well regarded.

The current owner bought it new and carried it every day and for all that it still looks pretty good finish-wise.

It wasn't cheap(650 with an extra magazine) because even here in roster-free NC handgun prices are going up, up, up. I just saw a MK3 BHP for sale for $1,500.

I've got the 3914 blued variant and love it, particularly DA/SA feature. Gave up my Shield for it and absolutely no regrets. I've never read anything but praise for it and other 3rd Gen S&W pistols.

I've been carrying the poor man's version for the past 3.5 years; the 908. It's been a great gun. I am replacing it though. Not because I'm unhappy with it, it's just that I want something a little lighter. It's being replaced with a Kahr CW9, it's about 1/2 a pound lighter.

Had I not gotten the Karh right before I had to renew my permit I'd happily carry my 908 for another 2 years.

SW 3913 TSW

gen 3 smiths are super cool. I love them.
Had a bunch over the years but now am down to just one 6906. On the lookout for mint examples again to add to the collection.

Got a 5906, 6906 and 3906. One day I’ll find a minty 1006 and 4506.

It was my EDC gun after I retired until I gave it to my daughter. I may have to look for another. Much lighter to carry than my Officer's Model 1911.

I considered my Officers model but it is a Colt custom shop pistol and really too nice to carry and get worn and sweat rust. I do enjoy shooting it though.

You'll love the 3931. Its a great carry gun. I too have the 908 and have carried it a lot. Surprisingly accurate at distance too. I can bounce cans across a canyon at about 75 yards without trying too hard.

3913 is one of the best pointing handguns ever. Fits well in my hand.

Browning HP also feels great, but 3913 is so much safer with ability to safely and easily de-cock, etc.

Durable and well-built, so you can enjoy it for a long time.
