    G19 frame mod?

I just picked up a glock 19. Is there any way to address the knuckle undercut issue without actually having to cut away at the frame?

A couple of years ago I was able to pick up a G43 here. The frame had the knuckle cut and the trigger guard groove under cut.

However, those mods were not my choice. The mods feel great, and now that is what I am used to.
Is there a way to do something about that spot where your knuckle hits the trigger guard? A cushion or anything? Preferably, I would like to keep the frame as is. However, I would like to grip well.
So, is my only option to have the frame modified? (If so, are there any reputable companies in southern California that can be recommended?)

If it makes a difference, this G19 is going to find its way into my EDC rotation.

A 1/2" dremel sanding drum in 120 or 240 grit for a few seconds, followed by a light polish with some 800+ grit sand paper. I've done this to my own Glocks multiple times.

This will also be a carry gun, which is why I want to change as little as possible (if possible). Gloves would help, but I like to practice what I would do and if a situation arises, I most likely would not be wearing gloves.

contact your IA and ask what is allowed, im also sure there plenty of threads on here asking the same.

ive done the Dremel method and it does wonders, comparing it to the one ZEV did can't really feel the difference.

A Dremel is about $40 on Amazon but I'm not confident in myself doing it. Is there a recommendation for someone in southern california?

Don't over do it and substantially weaken the trigger guard. This, in my opinion, is over doing it.

Also, if you grip your gun and have a close look at how your finger interacts with the trigger guard, I think you'll find that it rubs on the right edge of the guard and not the whole thing. Therefore, if you simply round that side of the guard a little bit, instead of hogging the whole thing out, you'll achieve the relief necessary for a comfortable grip. There's likely no reason to hack away at the middle or left side of the grip unless the gun is to be used in both hands. And if it will be used ambidextrously, you still don't need to cut down the middle thickness.

Put sand paper around your finger and rub away.

If your planning to keep it. Do what ever you please to it.

Do it incrementally. While testing, trying.

Gloves won't help with the fact that there's not enough space under the trigger guard.

You can do it. I've done it to an XD.

Use the right attachments and a low/slow setting. Take your time.

I was also apprehensive, but it really is not very difficult.

Slow speed. A little bit at a time.

Yes. I am planning on keeping the gun.
