CCW recommendation...

My EDC for the last 15+ years has been an HK P2000sk .40 with the light LEM trigger. With "Freedom Week" I got a couple P30 standard capacity magazines so that "little" subcompact carried 13+1 rounds of potent .40 ammo, and still easily concealed, very accurate, brutally reliable and pleasant to shoot. I consider it one of the world's best concealed carry firearms.

Wish they would let us list more than three though. Charge us per firearm even, I’ll pay.

Three is standard for Mendocino County although they will let you qualify with five by paying extra per gun. I forget what the charge was but I think it was a nominal $10 each or something. I went with the five:

- Ruger LCR w/laser - .38 Special
- S&W 442 Airweight - .38 Special
- S&W Shield - 9mm
- Glock G19 - 9mm
- Glock G36 - .45 ACP
