I like the way you think, and hell you will never see her again, just like I wont see that one girl, that one time, at that one party...haha
None of my posts are serious or real, nothing I post is legal advice.

A single shot bolt action handgun - like any single shot handgun - with an OAL of 10.5" when using a 6" bbl (I'm almost 100% 50/50 sure on those numbers BTW ) is exempt from the roster. Must be a single shot though.

OK then, since in its original configuration it is not a single-shot handgun, it would need to be on the Roster to be able to be transfered through a dealer.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Assuming he doesn't know about the middle-man tag team.

              Alternative option:
Have a middle man FFL bolt in a zero-capacity magazine and transfer it in.....Quentin Laser would probably do it for you.....

I'll give a brief summary of what's going on with this gun. My uncle (CA resident) had my dad (AZ resident) buy the guy for him and he was going to have my dad bring it back and do the transfer. He didnt' want to have to deal with shipping it to CA since a lot of dealers won't do it, so he just had my dad buy it online. He said he did research and thought it was legal to own.. He was told it was an "olympic exclusion" or something like that.. I looked it up, but don't think it is. Either way, if it isn't legal, my dad said he'll just keep it here and my uncle will have to come over to shoot it

Or, I was thinking I can bring the gun back since I am an AZ resident, but stationed in CA. Then I could transfer the gun to him? That might be illegal though, not sure on that.

If your Dad is in AZ, he can sell the gun to you through a CA FFL using the family transfer exemption - basically, this allows Mom or Dad from another state to transfer a nonrostered handgun to their kids in CA.

On the other hand, if you're on active duty in CA but have maintained AZ residency, I don't see why you couldn't just pick the thing up. It would save you the FFL transfer costs, you'd just have to pay the $19.00 self register fee when returning to CA with the handgun.

I know what your are talking about. Like this right? http://www.6mmbr.com/gunweek010.html These are popular for varmint and high power pistol silhoutte. Don't know the answer to your roster question though.
