      The short answer is no.

Handguns that are not subject to the roster must be:
      -Single shot operation
      and
      -Dimensionally compliant

      FWIW:
Bolt action pistols are not subject to AW laws.

You might want to double check that. I haven't look into it recently to quote you chapter and verse, but I believe Federal law states that a pistol can never have been a rifle, otherwise you have just created a SBR which would require a tax stamp.

Not necessarily. A goodly percentage have magazines. Off the top of my head I can think of 1) All the recent XP100's, 2) Savage Strikers, 3) Anschutz Exemplar.

Ok that would make it even easier to install a single shot sled, or a 1rd mag, right?

HUH? we are talking about Bolt action hand guns, not a rifle that someone chopped up into a hand gun, wich you are correct on that would be illegal and a SBR, thats just like the Glock conversion kit, once you install it you can never ever take it off, its just like the Marines, Once a rifle always a rifle

You said you wanted to trick out a Tikka, I didn't know they made pistol receivers.

he was referencing bolt actions being exempt from the AW laws, not the pistol roster....

though I do see the confusion.

Hahah, I said that because bolt guns arent subject to the AWB, I couldnt even imagine a tikka pistol with a flash hider, a bayo etc etc,

althought that would be cool, oh and I could just make a pistol reciever for a Tikka, lol

people always tend to look at it the wrong way.

As long as I get mine, all's good, right? Who cares what some girl in a foreign port thinks anyway....

                              lol....haha.
