They had one at the Turners in Norwalk about a week ago, price was just over $1200

DD's Ranch had the 44 mag (you can convert it to a 50AE later) for around $1000. not to long ago, just have it shipped and do a transfer. Mine was under $1100 with Dros and shipping if I remember right from Him..

Welcome to CalGuns shoot2006..... Here's a little info for ya from a DE owner.

The only DE on the DOJ approved list right now is the MkXIX in .44Magnum, with the basic no-frills black oxide finish. Once you've got that, them you can drop another $400 or so for the .50AE barrel if that's what you're after.

You're probably going to pay a pretty good chunk of $$$ for a brand new one from a local shop.

If you choose to order one from out of state and have it shipped to a local FFL, you might be able to get a better deal, or you might not. It's pretty much how good a shopper you are.

There is a difference between the DE sold in the other 49 states and the one sold in CA, so make sure you're getting the right model. I believe the model # is DE44CA.

The last option you have is to try and buy one locally from someone. The good thing with that option is you won't be restricted to what the DOJ says you have to get as far as model, caliber or finish goes.

Keep your eyes peeled and best of luck to you.

How about this one or this one . The one starting at 700 dollars would be a steal at anything below 900.

                  Good luck!

ETA they are both cali legal MKXIX, oiu can tell if the weaver scope mount has a notch near the front sight, and one near the rear sight.

                      Here ya go..

                      Desert Eagle at DD's

Dealt with Dean a few times, quick shipping a good service..

He has alot of CA dealers to do transfers, just give him a call - if you can find a dealer that wont charge you sales tax its worth it..

City Arms has one used. It comes with all the different barrels inc .50ae and two mags for each caliber. They are asking $3,500 for everything.

Will this same Cali model be available for sale in 2007? I know there are some new safety standards handguns must adhere to. Thanks
