    Bolsa gunsmithing?

Hey all please share your experiences on gunsmithing service at bolsa. I am interested in sending my beretta 92 for an action job.

Also if you have experiences for other shops that do outstanding action jobs please let me know.

I can't answer your question directly however I did my own action job on my M9A1. I purchased the 92X xtreme trigger kit and installed myself. Got it on a labor day sale for 40% off!

Langdon Tactical also offers a "trigger job in a bag".

Langdon Tactical offers custom Beretta, Glock, HK, Springfield, and Tikka builds configured by trained gunsmiths. Browse LTT guns and custom services.

If you don't want to try it yourself, you can send your 92 to Langdon or Wilson Combat.

Their turnaround time could be months out. I tried to get pin and weld on ar barrel, the turnaround time was 3 weeks which I took it over to I forget where in Fullerton and had it done in 2 days.

This was early last year. Now with this China Virus, the months out is a best guess.

I have had some work done on my S&W 66 there, had the barrel set back and the forcing cone reamed, also had a locking ball installed in my 625 in .45 Colt. They did fine. I had an Ithaca 51 auto shotgun that would not feed properly, they fixed that one too and sent it to Briley for choke work. This was all done 10+ years ago.
Some have posted negative experiences on them also.

they cannot be trusted to keep your stuff nice. don't give them anything you really care about.

            this bad-rapping is personal experience.

Depends on their workload I guess. I had a set of factory 3 dot sights put on a Colt 1991 took a month. Few years later they swapped out a 6" for a 4" barrel on a 629 took 3 weeks. I supplied the 4" barrel.

bolsa is the western us authorized beretta service center, so there's that..

I bought a beretta m9 and benelli m4 there, and had some work done I was very pleased with..

they replaced the mag tube on my m4.. they removed the sights, installed filler screws and mounted bases and rings and refit a pachmeyr decelerator on my m70 .300wm.. and they've done some inspections and given me some recommendations both inexpensive and free..

they performed LE inspections for Mrs. Bee's off duty carrys for reasonable fees before she became a glock and ruger armorer..

small friendly shop run by professional adults, personally haven't experienced any punkish bs prevalent in places like turners..

as for lead times, I've never been in a hurry for quality work so no complaints here..

they're close to my house and .mil / le friendly so I like going there for convenience as well..

                good luck!
I started out with nothing - and I still have most of it

I have a Beretta 21A in to them for warranty work. They are an authorized Beretta repair center. Got a postcard back saying they have a 7-8 week turn-around time now. First time using them; so no experience regarding their work yet.

                        I really like Langdon Tactical.

You can get their Trigger Job in a Bag and do it yourself. Completely disassembling and reassembling a Beretta 92F/M9 frame isn't as hard as you think.

I sent them my M9A1 for a complete "California Special Package" over the summer. They had my gun back to me in 7 days.
