The bad news: as good as your 'lock tweak' idea on your Glock case is (and it is a very good one!), the same idea has been submitted several times before. One of which led to the factory lock option that is available now.
Whoa man, didn't mean to rub you wrong there. Being a avid firearm enthusiast since 1991 and active member on Glock Talk, I have never seen anyone else submit or mention the idea. I know no one is going to steal my gig, just putting it out there on the interweb.

Still- if Glock put that hole there, it would be nice. My idea is better then their current option.

I've flown with clam shell, and just wrapped the cable lock that came with the Glock, 4 or 5 times around the handle portion.

You didn't. Re-read my post. I was complimenting you on your prudent forward-thinking & on your idea. Then, I felt it was only fair to tell you that others have already come up with what you had. No harm, no foul.

          case

It is worth it to protect what protects you. Here is what I have used and recommend:

Plenty of room for the gun, spare mags, and other accessories, plenty of other sizes available as well. Best of all, the lack of exterior markings can help prevent everyone around you from knowing exactly what is in the case. The name Glock is pretty well known even among people that have little or no knowledge of firearms.

I did that too before the hole drill.

Quick clarification question about this... I believe you have to still put the tupperware in a locked luggage container, correct?
