The answer is 'it depends'. If our OP is in fact asking a serious question, it's really about which of the two hold more value to you? You've given us no other information to go by? There's at least five lines of questioning to answer that OP:

Just as a place to start which requires only one question: Do you CC OP? If the answer to that is 'no' then then answer is simple sell the tiny one. Carry guns are the hot commodity right now and are fetching the proverbial king's ransom.

I do have ccw and I have more than enough guns for that purpose...selling my off roster guns is not an issue as I can easily replace them(out state parents). I am trying to raise funds for my other expensive hobby.😁

            No disagreement from me.

I'll add that imo it's a question that an adult should be able to figure out without asking on the internet.

Unless the sale of one brings two or three back into the collection you keep both. That’s how this works.

sell that one then. it is less desirable (to you) and you can replace it anytime.

If you don't need the compact for carry, that one.

You should keep the one you shoot better but it's such a hassle to buy firearms in California, you probably shouldn't sell either one of them unless you really have to.

                              ^^^ I like this logic.

With that said, there was a time when a friend used to change guns like most of us change socks. He'd pick up a firearm which interested him, use it, get to know it, then sell it to finance another firearm. There seemed to be a certain logic to it and I was tempted to follow suit.

The problem was that when I sold a firearm in those days, it typically happened due to a need for money to pay for things other than firearms. (Rent, car insurance, doctor bills, etc.) As I've stated before, there are some of those firearms I'd like to have back; a couple almost immediately after selling them. Such was an interesting counterpart to my friend's strategy.

I could go with selling both, selling one, or selling neither in the circumstances presented by the OP. While I now have an M&P Shield and it is slowly working its way into a primary CCW role, I've never been all that big a fan of 'plastic' guns. Thus, there is a bias in any advice I'd offer as to "which one" to sell.

With all that said, I think the OP needs to first take time to remember why he bought each. Then seriously contemplate whether the rationale still fits what he's doing with each. Then determine whether the new acquisition a sale would finance supersedes the rationale of what's already bought and paid for sufficiently to make it worth sacrificing one or the other so as to get the replacement "right now."

Carry, competition, plinking, collecting, etc. all have different values to each of us. I've never been a 'collector,' but I have some 'collectibles' that I'd be very hesitant to part with. I'm well past my competition days. I don't hunt with handguns as my primary firearm. But, I do carry.

As a result, personally, if I was determined to jettison one, I'd be more prone to let the full size model, with all the 'gadgets' go in favor of the carry potential of the other. Then again, I'd still prefer a full size 1911 as my carry gun. So...
