mostly good. great prices when they have items in stock.

talked to one of the guys on the phone and he was no versed in CA law, and he a sale from me as I explained to him he can either disasseble the hi-cap ma or just not ship them for a G22 i wanted.

i got a steal a coupla years back for a M1A SOCOM II for $1450.

They understand CA law. They will not break apart their gun sets and ship either a mag-less gun, or swap or break apart large capacity magazines.

Generally they are good guys, and have good pricing.

They were the ones I got my CZ SP-01 through (and with night sights) at blazing speeds, while the other distributors were like "CZ SP-oh what the heck is that thing?"

+1 for Buds. Got my Tikka from them for $250 less than any local shop.

I've placed three orders with Buds over the last six months....

            Pro:
            - Fair prices
            - Decent inventory

            Con:
            - Slow to ship, sometimes very slow, even when items are in stock.
            - Does not accept returns, except on defective merchandise, and sometimes not even then (requires you ship back to the mfr for repair).

Overall my experiences have been good, but because of their return policy and very slow order processing, they are not first on my list.

PS - Anyone need a 40MM (not 40S&W, like I thought I'd ordered) Bore Snake? Make you a great deal....

I bought 3 guns from them and they know the CA laws and DOJ requirements.

My first order (scope ring, shooting rests, some cleaning supplies) took almost 3 weeks from order to delivery...my second order (scope ring, holster, some other small parts) took 13 days. All items were shown as in stock when I ordered - which is why I ordered from them. No ammo or other hard to get parts.

I needed some other stuff (Glock parts, mags, M1 forend light) that Bud's didn't have in stock, so ordered them from Brownell's and Midway the same day as the Bud's orders. Both arrived in 3 days.

I bought a Dan Wesson PM7 from buds, lowest price I could find, shipped it immediately and sent me tracking updates all the way to the FFL. I would definitely buy from there again.

Oh these were parts. I was surprised because I have never heard anything but quick shipping(1-2 days) for guns.

Well I guess we've learned they are super fast in shipping guns, slow on parts.

Mine was bad. Bought a new Weatherby AccuMark in 340 WM, gun was pictured & advertised as having a factory brake, it didn't. They completely tanked on me, wouldn't cut me a small $$$ break on the gun, wouldn't even go 50/50 installing one. I paid $200.00 to have the thing fitted. Their excuse was that they sell too many guns on the net to ensure their copy is accurate.

They did the "you better not leave neg feedback or we'll do the same to you". I did leave neg feedback, they retaliated - GB negated the bad feedback they left on me.

I know they do alot of business & guys like them. It's easy to be agreeable when all goes well, the difference between good & bad is how they handle problems. Selfish and vindictive doesn't get my business.
