    chiappa rhino

Curious if anyone has actually ever seen this firearm before in person, I've certainly had a hard time trying to find one.
If you got to shoot the rhino what was your opinion of it?

I've seen a bunch in person. Never shot them though. They seem to be nice guns.

Chiappa makes them in CA roster exempt single action only.
    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

My Mrs. has the 5" model. She likes it. Recently started to struggle with failure to fire.

He's not asking about the 586.

You do realize there's been huge demand and supply shortage of firearms since March? Chiappa's manufacturing is based in Italy, which was hit very hard by the virus. Owned two at one point. It’s different and as such a good collectible.

I own both a Rhino 5" and a SW 586. Two different guns and should be treated as such.

Rhino is incredibly light for its size as it is mainly aluminum alloy, the hi-viz sights make aiming a breeze and the low axis barrel does control muzzle flip greatly. It does what they advertise in a recoil that goes straight back insteat of flipping upwards. It does make this pistol a "nail driver".

There is a slight bit of play in the trigger, but not much and it is posibble to convert it back to SA/DA with a $12 link bar sold thru Chiappa.

If you want to shoot only magnum rounds, you will feel it in the web of your hand because of the low barrel and light weight.

Despite this, I don't plan on ever selling it.
