Actually, I rather like their "post-modern-industrial" sort of look. I wouldn't use the word, "beautiful" either, but I would use the expression, "masculinely handsome" to describe them.

Your RH is indeed a good looker...but turns out it does have an East Coast relative. :-) Here's the rest of the family, one blued, one stainless, both in .44 Magnum. Thumbnails are clickable.

      One side.

And their other side. The thumbnail is upside down for some reason, but the actual image is right side up.

Got nothing against the factory walnut grips. That said, the Pachmayr grips do make them easier and more comfortable for me to shoot with the .44M rounds.

No pics sorry, but I have a Super Black Hawk that is mixed stainless and blued parts. Hoping to score a used Weigand scope mount and scope for it... but I most likely will have to buy a new one. I really want to hunt with it next season.

Yup, I'm with ya on that. Love the look of the factory wood grips, but have a set of standard Pachmayrs on the gun to shoot. Much friendlier on the hands...

I have one of these too. I left the factory wood stocks, but swapped the front sight for for a red fiber optic. Have not yet found a decently priced holster that covers the trigger guard.

They did a great job with the factory grips for sure. I like that fiber sight, where did you get it?

Here is a pic of the factory grips so folks can see the nice wood

I bought my Redhawk .44 magnum back in '92. While I liked the looks of the original wood grip panels it was uncomfortable to shoot after a while. I tried the Pachmayr full grips but they were too bulky for me. My S&W Mountain Gun came with Hogue Monogrips and I liked them so much that I bought a set for the Redhawk. They are more narrow from side to side than the Pachmayrs.

Nice pic. I actually like the factory stocks. They look nice and work fine, as long you have a good grip on things. The back strap can hurt a bit, if you shoot heavy loads and are not paying due attention. And, I suspect many of us do shoot the heavy stuff. I might also find some rubber grips like yours.

The fiber optic is a Williams Gun Sight for the Gp100. Fits my Redhawk perfectly. I just got the front, but they also sell a set. The FO front is a definite improvement for me. I bought it on eBay, but they are available elsewhere. Also, it is plastic. I believe Hiviz makes one that is all steel for not much more money. https://www.ebay.com/itm/192064218578
