Any Ruger Redhawk/Super Redhawk fans here?

Like the title says...any fans of Ruger's Redhawk and/or Super Redhawk revolvers?

We'll start with this. Thumbnail is clickable.

Will include a Redhawk as soon as I can get a picture.

      Mine in .454:

I tried some nice wood grips on it, was too much punishment for me to handle, being old and arthritic.

I shot a Redhawk in .41 mag with a 7.5" barrel. It belonged to a friend of mine. I loved that gun. Just never got around to buying it.

Mine is 5.5" barrel, I bought it in May 1990, when I was switching to stainless guns. Great gun, it is in my never sell column.

I had a beautiful 7.5" super redhawk in 44 mag with fancy real stag grips and some excellent trigger that I can't remember what it was now several years ago. Sold it like a dummy. Have yet to replace it, but I sure want to.

Mine is here...no longer a complete Ruger...

It's actually carried in Grizzley country...and I know that's hard to believe with the monthly bear threads here.

True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.

Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!

Can't say I've ever seen "beautiful" and "Super Redhawk" in the same sentence before.

I like the grips - available from Ruger?

Pickings are a bit slim re Redhawk grips, if one doesn't care for Hogues which includes me.

Just throwing this out on the off chance others may prefer a better rear sight. Am told Magnum Research's "BFR" rear sight will drop in on the Ruger Blackhawk and am taking a chance they work on the Redhawk.

Only $24.95 each - and shipping is $5.00. Have ordered two. If they don't work on the RH I have a few BH to drop them on.

Sure beats the $100.00 or so for Fusion or LPA.
