Can we acquire the emperor scorpion?

It looks like this model on the roster
https://www.oag.ca.gov/firearms/handgun/1911-stainless
But since it's not on the roster you will need to buy it from a person who already owns it and wants to sell it. Private Party Transactions/Transfers (PPT) are exempt from the roster.
Or if you have a Grandparent/Parent/Child that lives in Free America and they could give you one. Or they can sell you one that they already own and don't want anymore. They would need to send it to a CA FFL for transfer.
The last way would be if you are exempt from the roster. If you are exempt from the roster just let your favorite LGS know and have them order it for you. If you don't know if you're roster exempt you're probably not.Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I personally don’t see the appeal of the scorpion over their black finish or stainless models. At the very least you could get a black one and have it cerakote for a couple hundred. Does the scorpion have a better trigger? Matched bushing, barrel or feed ramp? Since they use an external extractor I refer to them as 1912’s. Therefore sig makes the best 1912 sold in CA. Awesome guns.Comment
