    New Colt Python stainless finish

I purchased a new colt python 4" that is now on the California roster.
The gun is beautiful, great workmanship, but I noticed the finish has
a "greyish" gunmetal finish. Colt is ostensibly using a stronger stainless steel than the original.

I don’t know why it looks like it does, but I love the way it looks.

Sure it isn't nickel? I had a 6" Python in nickel many years ago. I'm not a revolver fan but I regret selling it.

python1.jpgAccording To Colt, it's a better stainless metal, harder than original

Still has that good old fashioned drool factor on the rest of us.
                  Thanks for the gun porn.

Looks media blasted, doesn't require a high polish and hides imperfections like most modern finishes.
