I have two Sig Sauer firearms.
I am interested in a P320 "Compact."
Does anyone have a review of the Sig Sauer P329 Compact?

320 Carry is a great shooter, light and quick. 3.9" has good concealability, would only guess 3.6" is in line as never carried one. I still like larger grip modules for sake of running 15 or 17 round mags but length of slid has not seemed to matter with accuracy. Recoil not an issue with everything I've feed it. I shot compact during CBQ class at SigAcademy and would recommend if you can find one.

all i can say is that both are awesome - i bought a P226 before i purchased the 320's and quite honestly all 3 are top notch

Does the heel of the grip end up in your Palm?

Sig has different sizes that increase or shorten distance and size of palm swell. Default is medium frames. Wilson also makes a really good frame for $65. I wish they would make a 45 frame gun but not as much customer base.

320s are good I have one keep in mind that if you do buy one the older ones have had a recall campaign for drop fires sig has diagrams to show if the differences between recalled guns and guns that have not had the recall

It's right on the edge. The longer grip of the Carry is more comfortable. I don't know why the Carry is bigger than the Compact, but if you're not concerned with concealment, get the Carry.

It really doesn't matter a lot because you can change either one into the other by buying a $45 grip module.

Carry is full size grip w/ short slide 4" slide

Compact is minus 1/2" grip and same slide

each uses diff mags to be flush, those are the expensive bits to change out...

I edc carry size in 45. Great gun, great trigger and have a 9mm legion slide+wilson grip for range nights to "save" ammo cost, but today's market 45 is almost equal/cheaper to shoot

I currently have 11 P320s in different sizes and colors. Do you plan on EDC (every day carry)? If so, grab a sub compact with a Wilson Combat module. You’ll have all the benefits (no printing through clothing, 17+ rnds, great ergonomics)

If you don’t plan on CC (concealed carry), compact is a better choice over a carry. Full size magazines (17rnds) are easier to acquire over carry (15rnds) magazines.

I have a P320. I got it as a Compact. As a Compact it's about the same size as a Smith and Wesson SD9VE, or the gun Smith copied.

I just recently picked up a Subcompact kit for it. I got the small frame without the rail. Other than being a 1/3" thicker than my Smith and Wesson 908 (.98" vs 1.3") it's the same size.

My 908 has been my EDC for over a year now. When I renew my permit next year I'm dropping the 908 in favor of the 320.

That's backwards. The Compact is smallest, next bigger is Carry, then full sized.

The Subcompact used to be the smallest but it's not in production any more.

On my subcompact frame, I run mags with grip extension from obsidian arms. Extensions are kind of pricey but add comfort and enough length to allow full grip, even with big hands. Extension are same width as subcompact frame. Not sure if as long as 15 round mags for carry grip module but circumference of sub compact grip module definitely helps hiding when carrying concealed.

Btw, you can still get subcompact grip modules and magazines from CDNNsports.com. I hate buying from them as they do not seem to support CA 2A as much as I would like but factory Sig grip modules and mags for subcompact are $19.99 per. Win in my books
