My 1911s tend to come with FSC, but they are all either 20LPI or 25LPI which is just not comfortable. The best FSC I held was a Les Baer at 30LPI.

That being said for my other guns(Sigs/CZ) I just use checkered grip tape, if I cut it perfectly they mimic FSC very well at 20LPI. And since they are rubberized with a similar material to Talon grips they don't hurt my hands. Most of all on black guns they look great and indistinguishable from afar from a real FSC. $10 for a skateboard size I think I have a life time supply.

You can also get 20LPI checkered grip tape off ebay for like $10 shipped.

Pearce makes a rubber front strap grip with finger grooves that installs under your factory grips, adds a little thickness to frame but way better hold on pistol. Think rubber Hogue grip with finger grooves without the bulk. About ten bucks
