I had no issues with the ejector either, only thing I did was change out the base plates for 9mm with the orange ones so they were easier to identify.

Glock 23 9mm Conversion Barrel?

I think you'll be happy with the Lone Wolf. I've switched back and forth with my Gen. 2 Model 23, numerous times; I've even shot competitions with it, and never, not once had a jam or a FTF.
There's no way it can work this well. But it does. I'm a believer.
(Side note; I shot a competition using the 9mm conversion, with a buddy who was shooting an unmodified 23. At the end of the competition, we discovered we had interchanged my Model 19 and his Model 23 magazines, quite a few times. Both guns functioned flawlessly, through the entire match...)

I run 9, 40, 357 sig in my Glocks never a problem with extractors, only issue is 40 cal mags with 357, needs a little tuning. The Brownell barrels aren't fluted, the Alpha Wolf is, so no problem to make quick visual confirmation.I already ordered the Lone Wolf. As mentioned upthread, I wanted an obvious visual cue regarding what caliber the gun was configured for, and the Brownells barrels are all nitrited (black finish).
What seems surprising to me is that the .40 S&W extractor works on a 9mm case without issue. I wouldn't have guessed that would be true.Protect public lands access http://www.backcountryhunters.org/Comment
