I got my g22 rtf2 in May, purple label aka gov overruns. I call it my FBI gun, came w/ the glock night sights and added few other weight cheating mods. Love the rtf2 grip texture.

The ALG/Geissele magwell came w/ a huge brass buts plug, makes good balance on the quick follow up shots. Like putting weight in the P320 grips.

Stepped in to say this. I went the other way and dropped a G22 barrel in my G31.

this one isn't bad got lucky I guess. the stock trigger on the rtf17 sucked and the barrel sucked. I have Apex shoe in that and ghost 3.5 connector. S3F barrel swap in my 17, I was getting too many flier with 115 and 124gr. Looked bad compare to Sp01 and M&P groups. Put over 2k rounds in the g17 before overhauling it and making sure it wasn't me

first glock turned to 4 glocks...be careful same like the CZ or Sig curse. they multiple

when the 40 was still virgin to the LEGO game

I know the Lego game. My other pistol of choice is a P320. Talk about customization.

I'm loving this thread. Don't currently own any Glocks but have shot several and have a 19 on order. Quick Q: Does anyone know why only Gen3 are on the roster and not 4 or 5? Did they introduce some scary new feature in the newer gens, or is it just CA DOJ feet-dragging?

Hey Doc, welcome to Calguns and welcome to the insanity of CA gun laws.

At the time the Roster was entacted, it created a time capsule of guns. Anything released after that lock down required things like micro stamping, Loaded chamber indicators, among other requirements to be added to the roster.

No pistol to date meets all of these requirements.

I have the exact same g22 rtf2 as yours which is also my first glock bought in March when I had no idea what difference 40sw is from 9mm. Now I bought the g17 slide for the rmr cut and the full set of slide parts plus a 9mm ejector, and turned it into a G17 with reddot. The only problem is that now 9mm is much more expensive (showing 60cpr this morning on ammoseek) than 40sw which I stocked up before I decided to go to 9mm.

Shoot it and see how the empty case ejects. See how far the cases are falling. If cases are falling by your feet try a lower power recoil spring. I like my cases to eject at least 3-4 ft minimum. If case ejection is not erratic, like cases flung to your head, up and side, try the 9mm extractor and ejector. Be advised weak ammo or too powerful recoil spring may also be the culprit of erratic ejection.
