    S&W SD9

Anybody know a shop in southern california that isn't selling this pistol with a ridiculous markup? Preferably an all black one? Any help would be appreciated

I could be wrong, but I don't believe that the one with the black slide is on the roster.

      Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

        OP:
Best bet is to check the Marketplace frequently.

You can put up a WTB ad, but scammers have been on there so FTF only, no up front money.

If they PM you and say send an email to "xxx", he has what you want, that is an almost certain scam.

It may be a little unrealistic to expect not to pay a "ridiculous" markup. The supply, or lack thereof, is what determines the price. Also, your definition of ridiculous may differ from others.

The way I see it is, if you're looking to buy a gun during a nation-wide shortage, be prepared to pay extra.

            Yep.

Especially off roster will almost always carry a premium.

I'm thinking about sending mine to CCR Refinishing. A bit more than $100 to get it refinished.

I think Smith & Wesson dropped the all black SD9 because it was encroaching into M&P sales. They had to cheapen it up to spread the price gap by making it two-tone, getting rid of the front night sight then slap a huge VE on the side of the slide
