In a weak moment, I offered mine for $1250. No takers.

Nice grips. I've considered changing mine out.

I usually swap my 1911 grips out with slim grips very similar to the ones on the EMP. There's just something about the slightly slimmer grips that makes them feel better in my hands. I've looked around for slim bobtail grips the only ones I've seen were from VZ but I wasn't a fan with the color options. I'm also like the traditional double diamond pattern.

Seems like a couple years ago these were popping up all over the marketplace. That's about the time I picked mine up from a member here.

And that's what I remember them going for about that time
Stop calling them Lawmakers. It only encourages them.

I bought mine in 2006. It's actually a Patriot Commander and has the Patriot and stars and the cross over the DW logo. Bought it new for $838. Still the best shooter of all my 1911s.

According to Wikipedia the Commander Classic Bobtail and Pointman 7 was discontinued in 2010 except for the California market.

I'd be very interested (ca$h m0ney) interested in a .38 Super Commander bobtail.

Keith is a good guy and is usually the person who picks up when you call customer service.

Clean looking!!! Focusing on a separate project or else would send my CBoB for smith work.

Thank you! Wanted to keep it clean & simple.

Finally found my Cbob here on the marketplace! $1500 for a new one. Loving it so far, still breaking it in.

Happy CBob owner here. Also have a PM7. Just wanted to echo the earlier comment about felt recoil. I was surprised at the difference between the Commander and Full-Sized 1911, but got used to the feel after a couple of mags. I have old, stiff hands and it's about the hottest feeling pistol I can shoot comfortably for 50 rounds. Had mine refinished by Ford's in Florida. They do great work. Super accurate, and a sexy beast!
