Glock 17 or 19

I somehow found a Glock 17 and 19 at the same time available to purchase. What do you guys recommend I should purchase? I am looking for a firearm along side my Springfield subcompact. While I can get both, but not sure if I want basically 2 of the same gun.

17 with the longer barrel would probably be more fun for plinking, 19 has a short grip for larger hands but you can add +0 extensions to your mag to get a full three finger fit if needed.

Even more fun for plinking would be a G34, but that was not one of your choices.

If you don't plan on carrying it concealed, I would go for the G17. My wife and I both shoot the 17 better than the 19. This is due to the longer sight radius and longer grip.

Reasonable price? If so, you want both. I'm telling you now, what you're going to realize later.

You can easily sell either one for the same price you paid due to the current times we're in.

Your springer is a subcompact, the G19 is a compact, and the G17 is a full size. The pistol size trifecta of any red blooded american! Those are good prices for new. Sounds like you've already talked yourself out of acquiring both though. Regrets a'comin'.

I'm not into 9mm but I've always thought that if I ever picked one up it would be a Glock 19. I prefer the slightly smaller size compared to the G17.
