I have TLR6 on my G43X and a TLR4 on my Sig P320 RX. Although I have lights mounted on my pistols my primary light is a much brighter handheld. Keep in mind if you rely on that weapon mounted light, wherever you point the light the muzzle is pointing at it.

Thanks for the reply JTROKS, appreciate the safety first tip. I am well aware and always have an EDC light in my pocket.

Personally (based on experience in low light matches and training) - inside the house - around 500-lumens, hence me going for the TLR7. Outside, as strong as possible (I currently have 1K lumens).

Of course, I have a handheld light by my bedside. As already mentioned, you cannot clear/search using the WML.

Whatever light you pick stay away from the Surefire XC1 (first gen). Had to send mine in twice for repairs.

Is there any reason why the WML should match or extend beyond the muzzle other than potential shadow?
Was thinking a light behind the muzzle would reduce carbon fouling on the light lens.

Something like this example of a G19 with TLR-6 a good solution?

This. ^ Learn how to shoot with a handheld light. You want a light that has a push on, release off switch. Like this one. https://www.surefire.com/products/il...-combat-light/

You want to be able to illuminate your contact without pointing a gun at someone who does not present a threat. That could result in legal woes.

I put a TLR-1 on my bedside Gen 3 G19 years ago. When I got an AR, I needed another light and ended up moving the larger TLR-1 to the AR and getting a TLR-7 for the G19. I like this setup. The TLR-7 is plenty bright for the inside of my 1200 sq ft house.

I use a TLR6 on my Kahr and a handheld. Do you find that pressing the TLR6 switches deflect the light? I have mine cranked down as much as possible and the point of aim can change 2-3 inches at 7 yards. Wondering if that is typical, or if I might have a fitment issue.
