Moving back to CA ...

Currently...You need to investigate/contemplate a few things.
1. How many guns you can sell per year without becoming a dealer.
2. Will California begin to limit that beyond what would be acceptable for a timely return of expenses.
3. Consider if California prohibits PPT of guns that are not on the roster.
Limited to five transactions per calendar year.
A single transaction can include up to 50 firearms.
Maximum of 50 firearms can be sold in a calendar year.
It is CA legal to import off-Roster handguns with the intent to keep them.
It is CA illegal to import off-Roster handguns with the intent to sell them.sigpic

Welcome back! If your goal is to make money, all you need is Glock 19 gen 5 and Sig 365...you will sell your copies for probably 3 times what you pay. Finding buyers to spend more than $1500 on a single piece can be a bit tricky. Keep in mind that in CA you can only make 6 transactions per year. So having a bundle of guns would be the best idea. Case in point, buy as many guns as possible at your lowest cost, that way buyers might have the chance to buy a 3-4 gun bundle, thus providing you a higher margin than one wilson combat. Good luck!Comment

Why are you moving back?
Stay in CO! You are better there!
(Sorry - it is obligatory to post something of that nature in response to every single person stating they are moving back. Since it hasn't been posted yet I felt obligated.)
Also don't forget about the obligatory:
-Buy ten copies of everything off roster! You'll make a mint!
Followed by...
-You can't import intending to sell! That's Illegal!!!
Followed by...
-Well buy everything and if it turns out you don't like them, sell them!
(Although the latter points have already been covered. I felt obligated to post as the first had not yet been written.)
Best of luck! Where you moving? Which part of CA? Condolences!Comment

Take all that money you're planning to spend on guns, and go get your head checked
If you still want to move back after that, I would say Premium 9mm 1911s (Baers, Wilsons, DWs etc..). They're enjoyable, easy on the wallet and you won't lose money if you decide to sell.
Ditch the plastics, unless it's an off-roster you want to carry.Comment
