And you have two of them!

I would bet those two rounds together from the derringer, pack both more lead, and more total kinetic energy visited upon the target than a whole mag from a seecamp (which I like) or the bear stopper that is the tomcat or jetfire
And if you are a bad shot then they make it in a .410 also (.45colt/.410shot)
But then feinstein will slap your hand and tell you not under her throne ...

    Just a fun thought.

And yes, those bullpups, as all Bond arms, are the finest of quality.
I think they bought the design from a defunct Rohrbaugh btw.

(eta) it was the Boberg, and not the Rohrbaugh. Go figure ...
Lol for the weight you might as well pack a brick around also . Works to keep those napkins in order at a picnic, too

I assume you are talking about the derringers. If you are talking about the Bullpup9, it actually compares very favorably on weight:

        Bullpup9:
        Gun Dimensions Width: 0.96-in
        Length: 5.1-in Height: 4.2-in
        Barrel: 3.35-in Weight: 17.5-oz

        Shield:
        Gun Dimensions Width: 0.95-in
        Length: 6.1-in Height: 4.6-in
        Barrel: 3.1-in Weight: 19-oz

So let's see. Same caliber, same mag capacity as a Shield. Lower weight, longer barrel, smaller length and height. Within .01 of an inch thickness. And it's all metal, and even comes with wood grips! This is a potential winner.

SloChicken, I think you are right - they bought the rights to the Boberg. The Boberg had a lot of reliability issues. And it was reviving a 100 year-old Remington design. But if Bond has ironed the wrinkles out, this is pretty interesting. It will give me another gun our commissars won't let us have that I can fantasize about. Thanks for posting it!

Sorry, Just can't see it. That two shot derringer weighs 21 ounces: https://www.genitron.com/Handgun/Bon...-Mag/Variant-1

For 21.87 ounces, less than an ounce more, you can tote a Glock 33 with ten rounds of .357 SIg: https://www.genitron.com/Handgun/Glo...-SIG/Variant-1

Like I said, I'm old school, but not that old school!

Haha! Yep, it is a pretty up your nose gun.
I carry my diminutive Kahr p380 lots in summer and we are at that point here in vegas now.
My usu holster carry pieces are a 3” (concealed IWB) or a 5” or 6” 1911 which I carry OWB either concealed under overshirt or just open carry depending, at times I will carry a j frame 442 (IWB or pocket).
I will carry larger revolvers (.357, .454j for rural backcountry or bear country, and they are either OWB or on a chest holster if fishing or carrying a pack

The kahr is utilitarian, whereas the bond is style.
For me the weight is an issue, but size is the end all for true concealability.

Here in NV open carry is legal and I have a CCW so I don’t sweat printing, not that it is illegal, but if I mean to be unnoticed, small, and a good holster is more important to me than weight. My 3” 1911 v. A lighter, but fatter j-frame for instance the 1911 conceals far better.

So yeah, the Bond derringer is just something to kick around and talk about, but have a look when you get a chance.
They are like a Harley or old Belair. Just good old fashioned American made heavy metal.
The choice of .45colt, 45acp, .357 mag or .410 shotshell is pretty sweet too.
They also have intechangable barrels on some of them.

The quality is worth a look even of it is just so you know wha t’s good when in a free-state.

Then again, what do I know,my preferred shootin stick is my single shot, falling block Ruger No. 1 in 30-06

It just doesn’t get any more sensible, needed, and necessary than a 50BMG derringer?
I mean, how does any red-blooded American deny one’s self this ???
            Eh? Eh?
