Note the use of "may" vs "will".

Then again, how many vendors do we see, including LAW Tactical, publishing images of their pistols with SBA3 and SBA4 without worry?

And of course, you can count on the ATF just making crap up out of thin air also:

An Ohio Marine vet was prosecuted for possessing an unregistered short barrel rifle by the ATF. But the .gov didn't have its legal ducks a row. What a shame.

My point remains the same. The OAL issue is moot in this case. OP didn't mention a vertical foregrip. As for Law Tactical showing pics with an SBA3, they were either ignorant of the issue, had a stop in the brace as has been talked about, or just didn't care and figured that was the customer's problem.

I wasn't aware of the LOP issue until I bought my first brace, from Shockwave. The instructions explained it. The brace manufacturers know the deal. It's when a Law Tactical folder is added that people have to be extra careful about the LOP. As the other guy's link showed, ATF prosecuted that guy for what they thought was a QUARTER-INCH too much LOP.

              Maglatch fngr.

However it's not ideal. To drop the mag I have to fold the stock, depress the button and pull the charging handle back. Then remove the BCG extension from the rear. Then push the button again while pushing the BCG back into battery. Only then can I separate the receivers and get the little maglock block out.

I think the AR maglock and Kingpin may be a quicker and easier to use system.

I think the FC Hook is a pretty decent fixed magazine solution. It works best with Lancer magazines
