CCW carry options what would you choose?

For those CCW holders What 3 guns did you put on your permit?

I was thinking 1 for everyday in the city during warmer months something like the Kimber Ultra Cover II
another for the winter months thats full size

and the 3rd for hiking in the back-country that's full size

What harsh terrain backcountry creatures will you be seeing besides feral humans?

When I was bound to the 4 guns, I had a glock 19,26, kahr p380 and a SW 38 spcl. Now that I don't have a limit well...
The thought process was a had a gun for multiple scenarios. The summer the revolver and the Kahr are light and easy to carry in summer clothes, and the Glocks were for when I had heavier clothes or was further from home seeing as they have a much greater capacity.
I have always thought that if I was going to be in the woods alot I would want the small Glock 10mm.

The last time I was in the woods, I had a 45-70 in my hands rather than slung over my shoulder.

            19, 26, p380, any 45.

Off roster availability will allow for better choices.

My "big" gun is a Smith and Wesson 908, it's about the size of a Smith and Wesson Shield.

My "mid-size" gun is a Sig Sauer P290.

My "pocket" gun is a Taurus PT738.

              Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

                Primary: XD9SC
                Secondary: 1911 .45
Tertiary: GP100 (when I had a third and it was for back country use)

But you need to pick guns that you can shoot well and will actually carry. Otherwise what good does the permit do you if you don't use it daily?

Mouse or church gun, in my case, Seecamp.

Chevy carry gun, in my case G19 with standard magazines

Bar b que gun, Colt Commanding Officers in stainless.

Rough and tumble revolver for hiking/camping, etc Ruger Stainless SP 101, .357.

The seecamp gets the most mileage. Even when i am carrying something bigger i have it.

Think about value and ability to replace, because sometimes even if you are a careful planner, you have to leave one in the car in a lock box.

I will never leave my Colt. I could replace the Glock in 10 days.

I got glock 19,glock 26, and springfield xds .45. I've been carrying for years and always grab the 26 It just feels the most comfortable and all the mag capacity I need.

                          Round 1: 1911, G23, Shield 40 s&W
                          Round 2: 1911, G23, Shield 40 s&W
                          Round 3: G23, G43, Shield 40 s&W

I changed on my 3rd renewal as I thought as you did, I could wear my larger framed weapon during the winter (1911) - to be honest, it never left the safe during my 6 years. I always wore the Shield or Glock. The 1911 was so heavy I avoided it. I tried a shoulder holster to relieve the weight, but it wasn't convenient in our hotter than usual winter months when a jacket would come off in stores or when sitting out dining. My $0.02.
