    Talon grip wraps?

    Anyone use these?

I've been having the issue where my hands tend to swest quite a bit when I'm firing the gun, thus the gun slips a bit in the hand, leading up to a bad follow up shot. I usually wear gloves to mitigate this, but I know that I won't always have gloves when I need them to control the slip.

I've been eyeing specifically at the rubbee Talon grips. Is it good for sweaty hands? I've also eyeing the rubber instead of the granular grip, in case I want to use this(those) guns for CCW.

    Thoughts?

Gun is a Glock 19, future is Glock 43. I considered getting the grip textured my stippling, but I figured to take a cheaper route first.

I had both at one point. I really dig the sandpaper talon grips. For some reason the rubber ones made my g19 feel alot thicker... but then for ccw, the sandpaper grips would grab certain cloth and garment, also bot comfortable if riding on skin.

I use Talon rubberized grips on all my guns. I have a ccw and carry all the time.

Can't remember the Calgun member's name/post but he smoothed out the grip and removed the finger grooves and added Talon Grips made for Gen 1 and 2 Glocks and it looked amazing. If I was not all thumbs I would do the same. So, yes Talon rubber grips are good to go.

I trust the granular for a strictly range gun without a doubt. How does the rubber feel versus a naked gun? I get that everyone's experience is different, but does the rubber freeze and stick your hands in place?

          I know it's a $20 gamble, but I figured I'd get some insight.

All my Glocks (8) wear them, as do some of my other pistols, rubberized type, HD/CCW/Range/Whatever, I love them.

Have you tried a regular slip on grip? Hogue or others?

Just ordered some rubberized talons for an XD Tac,
I handled them on another pistol and they felt good.

                Easy, inexpensive upgrade...

Follow the directions it matters. My first Talon Grips did not fit or adhere properly because I did not clean the grips enough with the wipe that came with the grips.

Good call, clean, overlap as instructed, heat treat 3 times, no issues at all yet with coming off, peeling etc. Don't anticipate any. Solid product for me.

Those are okay, but do increase the overall
width of the grip a bit more than the talons

I put the rubber Talons on my XD Tactical. Made a big difference for me. The stock grip felt pretty slick when my hands got sweaty. I have also used Traction grips on my Glock 22. The Traction grips are a bit cheaper and feel more or less the same as the Talons.
