Chance of getting CZ 75 TS (01172 sku, rostered but discontinued)

I searched earlier and just found a bunch of threads from 2018.

What are my chances of finding one of these in 9mm? I cant seem to find one online so I'm assuming im at the mercy of a PPT?

Right now you are lucky to get ANYTHING...lol. These are not the times to be cherry picking guns. That said, a lot of well prepared CalGunners are selling into the rally in guns right now so the classifieds and a PPT are probably your only hope.

When you look up the SKUs, it's the regular standard capacity version. It also says they wont ship it to ca.

What am I missing here?

Just got off the phone with rifle gear. It appears I am correct.

Sku 91172 is what they have in stock and will not sell to CA peeps. He told me the frame is actually slightly different than the ca model which has a sku of 01172.

Well so much for that. I guess I'll wait till i move to a free state and buy whatever CZ i want. Maybe a shadow 2? I refuse to pay the california markup.

Shadow 2 is off roster and will most likely get you a California mark-up. Good luck.

They ones they have left are the off roster version with a differently shaped frame in front of the trigger guard. It is beveled around the recoil spring instead of being a constant contour to the muzzle. That change made it off roster.

I know a guy that has a brand new CZ Tactical Sport 9mm that is in the San Francisco Bay Area that might consider selling it. He didn't get it cheap so I would think he would sell it if he gets $1,600 for it as that's almost the price that he got it for. But I think in this time of panic, he should be able to get $1,800 for it especially since it's discontinued and no longer being made for California.

I paid more than retail price for ppt. That's how it is with off roster/discontinued guns.
