I'm surprised the grip screws are that prominent...they appear to be more counter-sunk on the last pic in your first post.

The slide cuts lighten the slide, but probably have more value for the 9mm than the .45 ACP.

Regardless, I hope it is more than you anticipated.

Wow, she’s a stunner. Wasn’t originally sold on the gun, but your latest photos show a lot of cool features. Dimpled flushed pins and mag release with flats, I’ve never seen that before. I like how the magwell follows the flats surfaces of the grips. All of the angles remind me of a stealth fighter plane. Congrats, great looking 1911!

That grips texture looks like it might draw blood.

That is a nice piece of iron. There are pistols as good as a Nighthawk, but none better.

The only thing I would do is get a set of grips from Craig Spegel, but that is just personal taste.
