    Nighthawk Agent 2 Commander

I've been a big fan of the Nighthawk Agent 2 since it was released about a year ago. Yesterday I saw an email that they are now making them in commander length. I've always preferred the 4.25" over the 5", so I sent Nighthawk and email today to get my order in. I chose to go with it chambered in .45 ACP and went with the stainless finish and TiN barrel. I also opted for the 'golf ball' style Railscale grips. Nighthawk said they're about 6-9 months out, so I'm going to have to be patient for this one.

This is a government length Agent 2 that is atheistically similar to the way I had mine spec'd out. I just opted for the other style grip.

    These grips.

It looks pretty busy, but there is no denying the quality of production Nighthawk puts out.

I would like to see it in person. Aesthetics are a personal choice, and I have found that some that don’t grab my attention immediately grow on me over time.

        I have a long slide, a 5” and a 3.5” combat master.

I mostly carry the 5” but certainly it is noticable, (to me anyway) esp when IWB, and the detonics, while cool, and though it carries better, is not my favorite shooter.

The 4” seems a great size and one cannot go wrong with Nighthawk.

I am curious, what is the base price for this pistol?

              Love me some Nighthawk...

Is that slide opening on the side for show...or does it have a function that enhances to gun?

NHC turns out a quality product for sure, however that quality doesn't come cheap.

Just got an email from a Nighthawk manager today saying that the only color the Agent 2 Commander is supposed to finished in is smoked grey Cerakote. The salesperson who took my order didn't know that, so they said I'm going to have a 1 of 1. I'm glad they're honoring my order and not making me get it in grey.

Even better! You lucked out having the only one.

I just got a call from Nighthawk about an hour ago and they said my 1 of 1 Agent 2 Commander was built and ready to be shipped out. It was quite the surprise since they originally quoted me about 6-9 months and took less than 2. It should be at my FFL on Monday but they sent me a couple of pictures in the meantime.
