I wanted to hate it. But, it feels good in the hand and the trigger is not bad. The sights are great. I haven't shot one yet, but it's ticking all the right buttons. I think I might have to pick one up when the OSP models become plentiful.

According to the thread over on arfcom, the 15 round Shield Arms mags for the G43X/G48 are finally starting to ship, so we should find out very soon whether or not they’re viable. A 15 round G43X would be an amazing deep concealment pistol.Comment

I went to a shotgun class, found out we could also shoot a pistol if we had a holster and ammo. Only had defensive ammo, so I bought some reloads from a local gun store, Local to Los Angeles, and had issues through the class as well as a pistol class the following week. I was told by 5 instructors, everything from never trust a Glock 19 to the factory mags are the issue and of course one said I was limp wristing it. Took it and shot it, same thing, FTE,FTL.
Two weeks later, I took said Glock 19 to the range, with a notebook to isolate the issue. Used aftermarket mags, and of course different ammo.
What do you know, anytime I used the reloads in the Glock 19 with any mag, FTE,FTL. Used factory ammo, other folks reloads, factory mags and aftermarket mags, fired like I was in a John Wick movie.
Instructors do NOT have the time to isolate an issue during a training session, so place little to no faith in their opinion………………..
Just my 2 cents worthComment

And one of the first questions they ask when someone says that they're having malfunctions. What ammo? If the ammo is suspect, the recommendation is always the same. Try good factory ammo.
So, I will usually take malfunctions stories with a grain of salt until the culprit is found. Most of the time, it is not the gun. If you DO have malfunctions with different mags, different ammo, different shooters, then, yes, the gun is 'most likely' to blame.Les Baer 1911: Premier II w/1.5" Guarantee, Blued, No FCS, Combat Rear, F/O Front, Checkered MSH & SA Professional Double Diamond Grips

Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.Comment

Is that not contradictory to your accepting something as fact via "reading" it as someone elses "first hand" account? While you dismiss actual owners true first hand experience.
You do understand first hand experience is your own personal, not what some one on the internet claims to be fact, yes? Maybe not if you did not see the obvious sarcasm of the poster you called out as if you seem to get something he did not.
The guy you are referring to is well known XD / SA hater and you see his rhetoric repeated in forums. You also see it debunked. Watch his caliber vids, he also a misogynist, contradicts himself, and has an obvious anger problem. In other words he commands zero credibility. But you know, some folks understand bias better than others perhaps.Comment
