    Stupid Question On Purchasing Handgun

NO. The law only applies to purchase, and even then only from a dealer Except city of LA it applies to PPT also.

1 handgun per 30 days is for purchasing, not selling.

Actually, as long as you are not in LA, it applies to NEW handguns from a dealer. It does not apply to PPT's.

              Well, not quite.

Suppose a dealer buys a bunch of on-Roster police trade-ins for resale. Just like new guns, one would be buying one of those from dealer stock, and 1-in-30 would apply. 'New' and 'used' are not significant here.

Thank you for the clarification. PPT's are exempt from 1 in 30 unless in LA county ....right ?

                  No.

                  LA city, not county.

                  Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
