I hear you man. I can’t even imagine being under the illegal laws that Commifornia comes up with. I’ve taken it for granted at times, but any more I really do celebrate my freedom here in Pennsylvania. Firearm culture is normal here. We have the 2nd highest number of CCW’s in the country! Pa is an OPEN CARRY state! LOL! I open carried my 1911 on Election Day 2016! Right to my Polling Place! I usually conceal, but I make a point to open carry in Philadelphia because the Libtards HATE IT!

I can buy whatever gun I want. I can build whatever gun I want. There is no registration. We are Class 3 qualified.

I wish you guys could take California back! But I think it’s too far gone. Better you just move to a State where your practices & way of thinking are respected. Those like: a fondness for firearms...wanting to keep families whole....fear of The Lord...standing for PRO LIFE, instead of being pro death. You know, things normal people stand for.

Is that a reasonable fear or am I being crazy?

Anyway because of that I think I should go striker fire. Am going back and forth between G26 and P365 (+/- SAS), now leaning toward the Sig.
If you have a quality kydex holster, what's going to push against ther trigger accidentally? 1911s also have a grip safety. Not sure about officer sized though. Sig P238/P938 do not have grip safeties.

Gotcha. Ok then After market trigger? All of my Glocks have stock trigger with some polishing of components...and I'm good with that. I wasn't at first....but after thousands of rounds I've come to like/appreciate them.

My only experience is with Apex in a shield on those aftermarket triggers.... its very good. From the comparisons I've seen on Youtube, it seems Overwatch triggers are the closest to a 1911.....but a no go for me as it has little to no take-up.
